If you’re looking for an easy crochet rose pattern that can use up some of your yarn stash then look no further.
Materials
20g approx of yarn from stash
Hook according to yarn
Yarn needle
Scissors
Stitches
Ch – Chain Stitch
SC – Single Crochet
DC – Double Crochet
V St – V- Stitch (double crochet (DC), ch2, DC) in same stitch
Skill Level: Beginner/Easy
Gauge: No Gauge necessary
Pattern
Foundation: Ch84
Row 1
DC in 6th ch from hook (1st V-stitch made), sk 2 ch, ch1, V-stitch = (DC,ch2,DC) , sk 2, ch1, V-stitch x 26 to end ch1, turn
Row 2 (Petals)
9DC in ch2 space, SC in ch between V-Stitches Repeat for all 27 spaces. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Construction
Roll first petal to create a tight bud and sew tightly then continue to wrap and sew each petal around the centre.
